Pet Memorial Acrylic Photo Prints

A way to remember a dog, cat, or other beloved pet that doesn't feel performative. Acrylic prints sit quietly on a shelf or wall, true to the photo you chose. No engraved hearts. No printed quotes you didn't write. Just the photo, finished well.

Why acrylic suits a memorial

Memorial photo products often go in the wrong direction - over-designed, with stock graphics, generic typography, or sentimental phrases you wouldn't choose for yourself. A plain acrylic print of the photo you love, finished well, says more than any pre-printed quote.

Acrylic specifically suits this use because it's archival. The pigment inks we use are rated against ozone fade for 75+ years indoors. Whatever this print means to you now, it'll still look the same in twenty years.

Choosing the photo

Most people instinctively pick a posed or "best" photo. The ones that hold up over time are usually the opposite - a candid, an action shot, the photo that captures the personality you actually miss. Photos that work especially well on acrylic:

Photos to avoid: heavily compressed phone photos sent through messaging apps, screenshot photos, and very low-light flash photos with red-eye corrections still visible.

As a gift for someone who lost a pet

If you're sending this to a friend or family member, an 8×10 in a printed presentation box is the right register - substantial enough to feel considered, small enough not to demand a wall. Avoid adding text or graphics; the unembellished photo is more thoughtful.

If you'd like to include a card, write it yourself. The most meaningful memorial gifts almost never involve pre-printed quotes.

Paw-print and silhouette options

We don't add stock graphics or templated overlays - those choices belong to you, not to us. If you'd like to include a vet-taken paw-print photograph or a custom silhouette, upload it as a separate small print (mini size) to display alongside the main photo.

FAQs about pet memorial acrylic prints

How long will the print last?

Indoor, out of direct sunlight, the pigment inks are rated against fade for 75+ years. The acrylic itself is UV-stabilised and won't yellow with age.

Can I add a name, date, or text overlay?

We don't add overlays - but you can. If your photo includes the pet's name or dates added in your own design tool (Procreate, Canva, Photoshop), upload that edited image. The print will reproduce exactly what you uploaded.

What if the only photos I have are low resolution?

Stick to 8×10 or mini sizes. The smaller the print, the more forgiving it is of phone-quality source photos. Our uploader checks the resolution and tells you the largest size you can comfortably print.

Is it appropriate to send a pet memorial print to a grieving friend without asking first?

That's a judgement call only you can make. As a general rule: if you know the friend well enough to know the pet's name and at least one story about them, a thoughtful print is welcome. If you don't, a card might be the better choice.

Will the print look dark or sombre because it's a memorial?

No - the print looks exactly like the photo. Memorial-ness comes from context, not from how the print is finished. A bright, joyful photo printed on acrylic remains a bright, joyful image.
