The Acrylic Print Hub

Custom Acrylic Photo Prints

Museum-quality acrylic prints made from your photos. 1/4″ optical-grade acrylic, UV-protected pigment inks, and a floating-mount finish that puts the image - not the frame - at the centre of the room. This page is the index for every size, use case, comparison, and care guide we publish.

Quick verdict: Acrylic prints suit modern interiors and high-contrast photos best - sharp blacks, saturated colour, and a glass-like finish that competitors using poster paper or fabric canvas can't match. Pick a size that's roughly 60–75% of the available wall width, choose a high-resolution image, and you'll get a result that looks (and lasts) like gallery work.

Every size we make

Each size page has the actual aspect ratio, pricing, recommended crop, and room-fit photos for that size. If you're unsure, the 11×14 and 16×20 are the most-ordered for living rooms; 8×10 sits perfectly on a shelf.

Shop by use case

Every page below has photo styling tips, crop guidance, and real wall examples - not a templated list of buzzwords.

Compare acrylic to the alternatives

Most buyers compare three to four options before they order. We've written each comparison honestly - including when canvas, glass, or a competitor is the better choice.

What "museum-quality" actually means here

The phrase gets used loosely on the internet, so here's what we mean specifically. Our acrylic is 1/4″ (6 mm) cast - not extruded - optical-grade acrylic. Cast acrylic has more uniform thickness, higher light transmission (~92%), and edges that polish to a true glass-like clarity. Prints are made on archival pigment inks rated to 75+ years against ozone fade indoors when kept out of direct sunlight. Mounting is a face-mount: the print is bonded to the back of the acrylic with optically clear adhesive, eliminating the air gap and dust ingress that bring down lower-cost prints.

Frequently asked at this stage

What's the right size to start with?

For a living-room focal piece, 16×20 or 20×30. For a hallway gallery cluster, mix 8×10 and 11×14. For a shelf or desk, 8×10. The size pages above include a "what fits an X print" room-fit guide with photos at scale.

How long does the whole process take?

Production is 3–5 business days; shipping is 3–7. Most orders arrive in 6–12 business days. Order by early December for Christmas - late orders can miss the cut.

Will my phone photo print sharp at large sizes?

Recent iPhones and Pixels handle up to 16×20 cleanly. For 20×30 and larger, shoot at the highest quality setting your camera offers and avoid heavy digital zoom. Our upload tool flags low-resolution files before you check out.

Is acrylic the same as plexiglass?

Yes - "plexiglass" is a brand name (Plexiglas® / PLEXIGLAS®) for cast acrylic sheet. The terms are used interchangeably in retail. Optically, what matters is whether the sheet is cast or extruded; ours is cast.
