11×14 is a roughly 4:5 / 0.78:1 aspect ratio - not the same as a standard phone photo, so a small crop along one edge is normal. Our previewer shows the exact crop before checkout.
Minimum recommended resolution: 2,640 × 3,360 pixels (240 DPI). Default-quality photos from any phone in the last five years exceed this comfortably.

Almost certainly a small amount, yes. Standard phone photos (4:3) and DSLR photos (3:2) both differ slightly from the 11×14 ratio. The 3D previewer shows you the exact crop in real time - you can drag to reposition.
It depends on the wall. As a guideline, the artwork should not take up more than ~75% of the wall's narrowest dimension. For a wall 30″ wide, 11×14 looks intentional. For a wall 18″ wide, drop to 8×10.

Acrylic prints reflect their surroundings slightly at the edges - on a dark wall the edge picks up a faint dark line, which most people find adds depth. The image itself is unaffected.
